Fujii began his career as an interior designer and architectural designer in 1980.
For the first 10 years, he was involved in architectural and interior design of hotels in Malaysia and New Zealand.
After returning to Japan, he was involved in the interior design of hotels and offices in Japan. 1996 he started his own business, mainly interior design for offices and company cafeterias. He continues to work on several interior design projects.
